Tips for Booking the Best Hotels in Bali
When to Book Luxury Accommodation in Bali
Bali’s peak tourist season is between May and September when the weather is drier and mild. December-January is also very popular as many Aussies visit Bali during their summer vacation. I recommend booking your accommodation at least 3-4 months in advance during this time.
How to Find Amazing Places to Stay in Bali
In this guide, we’ve listed some of the most beautiful places to stay in Bali, based on our extensive research and experience, plus a few suggestions from our travel blogging friends who have stayed in these Bali 5 star hotels!
These suggestions cover hotels and resorts in all the major tourist areas that are close to some of the best things to do in Bali. We’ve also included information about the style of accommodation, a general price guide and expert tips from people who have actually stayed there. Basically, we’ve done all the research for you!
How to Get the Best Price on Bali 5 Star Hotels
In order to get the best price on hotels in Bali (or anywhere in the world really), I recommend booking through Booking.com or Hotels.com. The reason I use these two booking providers is that they offer the best rates and a Price Match Guarantee. By signing up as a member, you’ll get access to special discounts, member-only deals, and sale alerts. Hotels.com also offers free nights after you’ve completed 10 stays!
I also find many of the hotels listed on Booking.com and Hotels.com offer free cancellation, in case something goes wrong. And sometimes they offer a pay at the hotel option if you prefer to pay in local currency.
Before I book my hotels, I usually compare prices on HotelsCombined.com to ensure I’m getting the best deal, but I generally don’t book through them. I recommend booking either through Booking.com or Hotels.com for the reasons stated above. Their Price Match Guarantee ensures you always get the best price anyway, as well as taking advantage of member benefits.
